Once again the Deer animal shows her savage violent ways and blames the “god” guy for all the trouble she caused. And now the Deer is going all Dominatrix and trying to seduce and dominate the “god” to gain more power, just as she did to poor Primrose’s dad.
Can Primrose save the day? Can Primrose save Simon, show him the meaning of love and help him to join the hero’s side? Stay tuned for next episode.
Simon’s expression… is interesting, to say the very least, but I would probably make a face like that if I thought I was about to die!
Always loves your expressions, Tony. 🙂
Thanks. ? ironically that Simon expression really bugged me (maybe too cartoonish?) and I redrew it over and over until I finally gave up and moved on. Can’t waste too much time on any one panel or I’d never finish a page.
Right now, it looks like she wants to execute Simon. And while she /could/ kill him with punches and kicks, that would probably take more time and be messier than outright stabbing/beheading him.
That, and a bladed weapon held in someone’s face conveys a more immediate threat than a person in a proper fighting stance, especially in a media format.
Some relative of TV trying to kill us on behalf of the average reader generally not recognizing a proper fighting stance as well.
Angry Thunderhead is angry.

Yes. You can almost see the thunder over her head. 😛
She has some very good points there. And I am not only talking about the tip of the sword.
Ouch. 😉
She called him human? That’s odd… in the past she referred to him as a god.
Ooooo… great point. 🙂 I hadn’t thought of that.
When I write, the characters seem to speak for themselves, so I guess Kyri sees Simon for what he really is. She never told me. 😉
I think the physics professor leaks through somewhat, as well he no longer has magic helmet.
In past the Deer saw a god who could do magic, now they see someone the looks like a man and is helpless like a man.
(And Jon of course showed that a man can do similar thing as Simon so Simon is really not that different, just a “rocker” of the helmet)
The art on this one is extra awesome!
Thanks. 🙂 I’m off work for the next few weeks so therefore I can concentrate on “stuff.”

LOL. I gotta’ do a Primrose/GATES spin-off comic. 🙂

Glad it works for you. ?
One of the most valuable things to learn with any art/skill: when to stop fussing over that one little detail and move on.

Given Kylie’s training, why does she even go for a sword? Doesn’t that make her -less- dangerous?

Good point. 🙂 Kyri could kill Simon with one strike of the hand, but I believe the sword is actually her weapon of choice:
