It seems Kyri got infected with Buddhic stoicism…
I wonder what Jon did to make disregard this attitude-I mean hey,Drakyl had slaughtered her tribe, boasts about it and she doesn’t even flinch!
Does the Endstone universe contain anything similar to a mariage counsellor?
Much as my own emotions want her to go totally bad@$$ on him, without a mistake… Her reaction is more clever. The sad expression is interesting — more sadness than anger.
I wanted to show Kyri battling with herself to hold back her emotion as she relies on her monk training to remain focused. It was a difficult expression to convey and I think I let poor Kyri down again. I might go back and fix this page later.
Also, I’m not too happy with the panel placement now that I look at it.
Don’t sweat the expression stuff! (Unless you really don’t like it, of course.) The “…” shows that there’s something going on there, if not the Incoherent Raging Fury that some of your readers have on her behalf. O:>
Thanks. I picked up that “….” from a Japanese Lone Wolf and Cub series a friend gave me. I always wanted to try using it. 🙂
Anthony…mixed expressions are difficult to interprete-not all people can read expressions easy, some have difficulty to read even simple expressions.
Kyri’s expression is not in contrast with her words and you may not need to change that…but if you’re not happy with it…
For me,the page works good!
Glad to hear it works. 🙂 And as for Kyri and Jon’s relationship, I think Kyri wins most arguments and she definitely would not agree to counseling . If the wife knows 20 different ways to kick your ass, you better take out the trash like she asked. 😉
