This should be an interesting show-and-tell.
Looks like Jon finally get’s his wish from the revised Chapter 1, Page 40:
Hmm. Interesting. We’ve never seen this effect with Cole, so I’m supposing that Simon might have more control over the Banestone than I’d previously realized….
This has some promise…
Lunaroki and gumydamit223 – The story is definitely headed for a turn. 🙂
Christopher – Yes!!! Good catch. 🙂
Nemoricus – You make a great point, but actually this did happen to Cole too
http://endstone.net/comic/issue-3-webpage-42/. And still one of my favorite pages. 🙂
I remember that part, but it did not happen because she had stopped time. And on the times she did, we did not see her visit this place.
So, my conclusion is that there are additional variables involved, and that the variables add up to Simon.
You could be on to something. 🙂
One of my favourite pages ever ^^
Thumbs up. And actually, Issue 3 page 42 and 43 are the same page cut in half. 🙂
The window – is that Twilight Zone?
Now that you mention it, yeah, I was probably influenced by the funky perspective window in Twilight Zone. I loved that show when I was a kid. Still do. 🙂
Aha! The window! Finally we get to see what’s so horrifying behind it…
Hopefully it will be a surprise. 🙂
Jon: Look, Kyri! It’s a Ham Sandwich!
Kyri: What is…haaahhmmm?
Jon (gleefully): It’s made of pigs!
Kyri: but some of my best friends—
Jon: Not in that reality! And I’m dying to get there! The Banestone drives you mad, all right; with Hunger! Do you have any idea how sick I’ve gotten of eating just the ‘lower animals’? Come with me, baby, and after the ham we’ll have something called ‘pastrami on rye!’
LOL. That’s some ham-fisted humor. 🙂
