Thanks Holopain. 🙂 I’m just trying to push elements and create depth with color. However, if you folks like the black and white better, that’s fine with me. It’s obviously much less work to do it in B&W. 🙂 What do you folks think?
Still, color allows us to notice more details and more features. Like here, i doubt i’d notice Cole in first panel should it be B&W :p
I like it now that i see it, but I honestly didn’t notice the change! That happens every time i look at something in black and white and then color, though.

Thanks folks. 🙂 The reason I hadn’t done color in the past was because of flatting. For those of you that don’t know, the process of flatting involves laying down basic, under-colors in Photoshop using the lasso tool. I hate drawing with that tool — it’s just so damn slow and painful lassoing areas within the inked lines. I’d always lose interest and never finish a page.
I have a new technique where I flat with my ink brushes in Manga Studio. Much faster! 🙂
And to think i find it hard enough to draw a faceless stickman…
I love the color:D but im a very visual person, it takes me much longer to read each comic thats in color though, as it takes me longer to process, but I like this…makes it last longer:D hehehe

Rapier, not Reaper. xD
The Rapier is a particular type of sword. Most of conquistador-like soldiers had swords that were/looked like Rapiers. I’m not a specialist though, i mearly learned it through Highlander series… :-°
