But now the “mass of toad” are in the “good” side.
Is there also an Overstone that represents Pacman? How about Space Invaders? Defender? Donkey Kong?
Ben better have good strategic advice for our dragon toad queen, because a military battle won’t subside in 49 seconds…
They don’t have to prevent the shutdown necessarily; they just have to prevent the reboot.
We shall see. 🙂
My guess is, shutdown means the end of all overstones, except for the helmet and probably the 2 main overstones. So, yeah, they may need to stop the shutdown too…
That would depend on wether the overstones are a final product or a continuous effect. Basically the difference between being imbued with their own power or merely channeling a specific micro aspect of the SPIRE’s.
Although personal experience has taught me that when in doubt, assume the worse option. That way you can be pleasantly surprised when the entire system DOESN’T go up in smoke, or at least prepared to fix everything.
End of Line
Saved by the toad men!
Hopefully 4 frogmen survive.
That way Herick can give them fighting lessons and name them Attila, Genghis, Napoleon and Rasputin. Aka the “punk frogs” from the Ninja Turtle franchise.
This gives me ideas…. 😉
I know he’s trying to convey that only a single second elapsed from the previous page, but even if there was a reason for the computer to state every single second, just saying “Shut down in” would take more than a second.
Actually, it’s a typo. It should read “40 seconds.” I didn’t notice until you pointed that out. Thanks. I’ll fix that when I get a chance. 🙂
That one top left is… croaked.
So, I guess with the malfunctions and imminent shutdown, wish fulfillment is granted to any sentient being at the tower? I can’t imagine GATES having desired a hostile army of frogmen…
Actually, Cole created them last issue: 11-28 so she and Ben should be arriving any second now.
