I am always baffled by these guys who can wander around and fight with injuries which would put me on the ground. Especially so close to the heart. 😉

True. 🙂 But it is addressed somewhat in the next post.

Can’t get shot in the heart if you don’t actually have a heart. 😛

Whoa… I hope he can still rock the grave stone even after it’s been *interrupted* O_O

If I remmber right contact with Gog the dog (a rocker) is what activated the gravestone. From then on the gravy Pablo could rock it himself.

Actually, Not sure if it’s either Gog or Bolo, but they dropped the Gravestone onto Pablo’s skeleton and ran in fear of him when he rose, until he revealed himself to be harmless to them.

And yes, he can still rock the Gravestone again after it’s been interrupted by the Endstone, provided the Gravestone gets out of range of the Endstone’s nullifying “force field”. Just loke how Drakhyl was able to escape Kyri when they first met.

The problem is, Pablo is still right next to the Console, so the only way to make hom out of reach of the Endstone is to throw the Endstone away. Second, that kick (probably used to separate the Gravestone from Pablo’s skeleton) has probably damaged his bones, which will maje his revival harder and more problematic.

Yes the kick was meant to separate Pablo and the Gravestone. The gravestone has to be touching his head either directly or indirectly, conducted through a metal chain or through other bones.

Noooooooo! Pablo! D: The page loaded slowly for me, so I saw the title first, and that was my first thought! :'(
Also, I must say that the lines above Pablo’s eye (socket)s in panel 1 reminded me of cat whiskers- you know, how they have whiskers above their eyes? Yeah. 😛

I’m a bit upset with Hostgator. But I find whatever host I use is always slow unless you pay the big bucks I suppose.

And yes, I try to add a little bit of lines to Pablo’s face to give him something of an expression.

Is that why the background has been white lately? I was wondering about it.
And I think the lines make… ahem… made his expression even better. 🙂

Sounds about right pricewise. “Would you like my arm or my leg today, good Sir?” <- Sadly, this applies to 97% of life.

The host is not always the one to blame, sometimes it’s the software working on it. 😉

Have you tried CloudFlare? That should speed things up a fair bit.

I’ve never heard of CloudFlare before. I checked-out their site and it looks great! I’m definitely going to sign up. Thanks!

    Nooooooo! Exposition, my one weakness!

Ah, the drawbacks of a webcomic format, requiring the occasional reminder as to why and how.

Ah, erm, I ment to say “Pablo, nooooooooo! How will he ever get out of this one?” *cough*Deusexmachinastone*cough*

I hear you on the exposition. My creed has always been to avoid it, but I find with a slowly updating webcomic exposition is unfortunately a must.

SPOILER ALERT – At the end of this Issue Kyri finds the Deusexmachinastone on the Spire. She rocks it, and everyone lives happily ever after as vegetarians. 😛

Hm. I looked up ‘deus ex machina’… god from the machine?
It can’t be a coincidence, your usage of that phrase…
(And yes, I’m all up in everyone’s comments :P)

Eh, I don’t have TOO much problem with exposition, especially given the relative slowness of the webcomic format. I have the advantage of obsessively rereading at least the in-progress chapter every few weeks, which I’m sure many others don’t or can’t do for a variety of reasons. Plus, add in new readers and suddenly everything needs to be explained again.

It doesn’t seem too unbelievably out-of-place for Simon here though, given that he does indeed appear to be monologuing and ranting about his genius and whatnot. (Cue heroic entry in 3… 2… 1…)

      End of Line

If the hole in his shoulder from the lightstone isn’t hurting him so much because the banestone protects him, maybe activating the endstone right then wasn’t completely a good idea.
