Heh. I haven’t been commenting much recently because I’ve been waiting to see what would happen when she saw the reality of this other world.

It turned out much as I expected it would, and I’m reasonably sure that Jon will not really understand why she’s upset by that other world, even if she explains it.

Oh? She didn’t go through? Mmmph. Serves me right for reading this while only about half awake.

Something tells me that Jon is going to flat-out not get why she had this reaction.

Something tells me Jon will not have a choice. I’m guessing he probably never does.

I also have a better appreciation for just how insidious Simon is. He’s got Jon convinced that letting him make the world into this will fix everything, when it cannot change the fact that he did do the things he did. Simon can change people’s memories, but he can’t change the past.

And bear in mind, that isn’t the real, unaltered world. It’s what Simon thinks it ought to be, with the slight addition of making him PRESIDENT OF THE WORLD.

So you know, leedle change there.

Actually Kyri’s quote is from Henry David Thoreau. I’ve always wanted to squeeze Thoreau into one of my stories. 🙂

is that a hint about Gnomes and Dwarves? maybe midgets in the “real world” are dwarves in the “recreated” world?

I can’t say without spoiling the story, but I will say that everything is better with midgets. 🙂
