Absolutely. 🙂 It’s probably obvious, but Endstone is very much based on Dungeons and Dragons with a different twist. Basically, Kyri is a ranger. Jon is a Magic User/Thief. Herrik is a monk. Gog is a cleric. Bolo is a thief. Vandric a fighter, etc.
I see, the Quickstone gives speedster abilities similar to those of The Flash from DC Comics.
You get super speed, but on every level, including fast metabolism, fast aging process, etc…
What i don’t get though, is why this guy needed to be released. Could he not simply throw away the Quickstone ? Or is it that he was protecting it from evil stoners, in a similar way to Pablo guarding the Banestone ?
Or my guess is that he was protecting other stoners from the Quickstone by keeping it and garding it. A burden similar to that of the Montaine family with the Banestone, except at least he can rock the Quickstone without becoming a threat to others. 🙂
Or possibly the Quickstone is addictive, and the stoner cannot bring himself to remove it. Observe the shift in personality after the stone is removed, not perhaps unlike someone freed from a high.
I see using the Quickstone must have some drawbacks…
Ah, the old cursed item of haste gimmick. ~smirk~

don’t forget that jon was frozen in time for 10 years, ofcourse he would look younger than this guy, even without the “quickstone curse”

To quote Boromir:
“One does not simply throw away a stone!”
Then what did Kyri when she faced Banestone-rocking Jon for the first time ? :-°
perhaps it’s just this stone.
or perhaps some people are vulnerable

What tohava said. But the guy looks 40 years older so I guess that evens out pretty well 😛
I love the casual way Jon puts the ring on. And in the weird way my brain goes, my internal monologue just added a Yoink! to that frame. Time for bed.
