Yeah, I remember the lord (although forgot his name) and that Colindra have lackeys but didn’t recognized them quickly enough. 🙂
P.S. Poor lord Vegetable. 🙁
Colindra wanting Quandel alive ? Now that’s interesting… Looks like a sign of resistance against the God of Eternity Spire’s mind domination, if you ask me.
While it’s still very bane-like to leave him in his state at the gates of his capital (torturing his family in the process), it is obvious (even to a not-so-clever Banestone user) it can backfire easily. The lackeys are saying it themselves : would be much better to kill him and hide the corpse, St Louis would waste years in their search for their lost king.
Why else would she keep him alive then ? I think her true self is fighting back better than anything her dad could in his “Time Killer” days. She’s still trapped by the mind domination, but can influence her insane self into decision that would be otherwise hard to understand, even coming from Cole.
That’s not the first time i’ve noticed that strange behaviour for a Banestone user. She waste lots of time recruiting her lackeys and toying with them, settling a home, having regular manucures and sharing out loud the Banegod’s will there (“Banegod” being shorter than “the God of Eternity Spire” :p). There is NO WAY Colindra cannot realize sharing her secret thoughts with everyone means she can get easily countered. Not to mention she already got defeated by her parents and Herrik.
That’s why i think Cole’s true self is influencing the puppet Cole’s decisions and thoughts, wich is what i’d call resisting to Banegod’s mind domination.
Holy mother…
This guy is a rocker of infamous gaystone. :O
P.S. No offence intended.
LOL. 🙂 It’s Zigfred and Ray — Colindra’s lackeys. The brain-dead guy is Lord Quandel. They were last seen in Issue 2.

I think that’s a fine assessment DK. 🙂
