Well, he is SORT of being selfless… Some mercenaries would demand money up front, or just run away from an unmentioned threat. He is sticking around, despite his babbling.
Ah the joys of discovering you’ve just wondered into a fight with freaking Time Killer (have I mentioned that John has some of the coolest evil names; plus a powerful magic user wondering around in a suit is pretty sweet)
Originally, I was thinking of using “Time Killer” as the title of this project as sort of an in-joke to myself. I settled on “Endstone” since that was more unique in a google search.
So… is Kyri still wearing the Endstone in her choker, or was it something else she put on it in 6.31? And if it is the Endstone, why isn’t it countering the Heal-Stone?
Well, obviously too late to be useful, but in D&D a character can voluntarily lower their spell resistance to let “helpful” magic through. Of coarse the Endstone doesn’t work that way, though it would make sense that if the Endstone can be rocked to extend its radius of effect, the reverse is also true, so if Thunderhead is still “barely conscious….” Regardless, we DO know that the person physically carrying the Endstone can’t otherwise rock due to the effect it has on their “stoner aura” or whatever.
Yep, I’ve been up too long ArchiveDivingâ„¢, it’s making me think too much.
I do love selfless heroes like him, with them world is a better place. 😀

I think you have to be conscious to use it, you know – sustaining with a free action or something like that. ~chuckle~
Embarrassingly I have no answer for that. ;( You win a no-prize Starcreator. Yes, the Endstone should be negating the effects of the Healstone.
I guess I could add a couple of small panels above with Gog removing the Endstone. It sounds lame but that’s the best I could do to solve this gaff.
