Cole has to be one of the bitchiest character I’ve encountered in a webcomic series. In all honesty I dont want her to be saved, she could be driven completely mad for all I care at this point. No emotional investment in the character at all.
“No emotional investment in the character at all” and “In all honesty I dont want her to be saved, she could be driven completely mad for all I care at this point.” are two contradicting sentences.
You don’t like her….you don’t want her to be saved….you got emotions towards her-just not nice ones.
She’s not by any means a neutral character like Vandrik the Grim.
Endstone is all about Cole,Kyri and Jon-a family in great distress-you can like or hate Cole, but if she dissapears,we will be reading a totally different story……..
What can I say? I don’t mind critical comments. My goal is not for Cole to appear bitchy. She’s a little vain but she’s not a bad person (minus the Banestone) as you will see in this scene.
Originally I had her say “What?” instead of “like I said.” I changed it back to the original “What?” Perhaps that was the issue here. You guys and gals are my editors so if something doesn’t work I’m relatively open to criticism.
It’s an experimental webcomic and it’s a learning experience for me. 🙂
I love the webcomic and I love the story it just doesnt feel like the character is more than a princess and Kyri just does not seem like the type who would raise a daughter anything like that.
You may have a point here….maybe there should be more happy family moments to make the contrast with the current showdown more intense.
On the other hand, some (myself including) tend to fill in the blanks.
That’s more a matter of personal taste and what Tony does, suits me fine at most times…although I still believe that all these flashbacks are weakening the story’s impact.
Other readers like these flashbacks though,so it’s just another matter of personal taste 🙂
At least Cole’s heart is in the right place back then.

That’s okay, I’m sure she feels the same way about you.
