Now where is that silly kid going?

Thanks again to everyone who has been voting for Endstone at Top Web Comics. We’re so close to the top 100.
If you get a chance, cast a vote. It’s appreciated. And again you get to see a panel from a bonus Endstone story. The panel changes everyday. Vote often. 🙂
Hi Tony, new reader here!
I just finished a couple days worth of binge through your archives, and I must say I’m impressed. The art and the story are top-notch, but what impressed me the most was the originality. Sure, there are some familiar elements – the Banestone shares some traits with the One Ring, as has been mentioned, for example – but overall I don’t think there is anything else out there like this. Truly new concepts like this are a rare treasure!
Actually, there was something else that impressed me even more than your originality: you have a world populated by a variety of anthropomorphic animals, and yet we haven’t seen a single catgirl! I’m sure the fanatical furry-loving types that are devoted followers of many of the highest-ranked comics on TWC would bemoan this fact, but I for one find this lack refreshing.
LOL. 🙂 Thanks TekServer. I try to put an original twist on Endstone, but sometimes I feel I could have a larger audience if I had just made a World or Warcraft comic… with catgirls. 😉
Poor Kyri. I don’t know how she puts up with all this unfriendliness towards deer.
@Tek: No Catgirls?? Oh the Horror! 😀 I really need to do a re-read…
Exactly right. And that’s why by the time we meet her in Issue 1, she’s already given up trying to fit in with humans.
Whichever way she turns, he’s got her.
Actually there is one way left for her, for now : wilderness again, but not forest-based. It will be a new type of wilderness for both deers tough. Second possibility is seeking friends she know of : the secondary heroes who will eventually join her again at eternity spire (see the very beginning of the story). I think that sooner or later, this second possibility will come to pass.
Secondary heroes who will eventually join her again at eternity spire? Do you mean like those two familiar characters I see in the background of the first panel? ^_^
I mean the entire squad : Lord Quandrel, Gog and Bolo, Vandric the Grim, and Herrik the Snake. 😉
Yes, Jon knows Kyri so well that he can trap her where others have failed. Kyri going to a different wilderness is a good idea. Unfortunately, like in pre-Columbian times, the entire Eastern half of North America is covered in a temperate rain forest so there’s really no where else for Kyri to go. And yes, those two figures in the background are somewhat familiar. 😉
Heheh there is always a miracle cure 🙂 Have you seen the inspector general? Amazing movie.
I’ve actually never seen that flick. I’ll have to check it out. 🙂
Hit 100! I saw it!
I wonder if it can get above dead last in that 100.
Stonecraft. Because everybody must get…oh you know the rest.
