Wow, those wolves must have pretty much no skill with those bows. Or using Dark Heresy rules for fighting. I mean they were chatting with their near-dead father for about three minutes. The last guy who could pull off such a speech while having a FREAKIN’ HOLE IN THE CHEST was Vegeta from Dragon Ball Z. And while being a saiyan (a super saiyan at that) would neatly explain Thunderhead’s (that’s her given name right?) superior fighting abilities it would make this flashback a cross between DBZ and Bambi. And I’m not sure I want to think about what THAT means.

On the other hand the wolves’ poor shooting ability means that outside the flashback our heroine has a much more chance to survive then I previously thought. Unless, of course if she trips…

Memory is a funny thing. Although I’m sure our heroine thinks she remembers the conversation with her dying father in the midst of the wolf attack, the reality was probably a lot less verbose.

You’re surprised wolfs have bad skills with bows?
Have you ever seen a wolf in the FITA Archery World Cup?

You mean you’ve never heard of the Bad Guys Shooting Academy? Other proud graduates include Imperial Stormtroopers (” … are so precise”, ppppftttt!) and James Bond villainous henchmen.

I don’t even know how to describe how much AWESOME there is in this statement.
