Thanks. 🙂 Although I think most of my friends and family would describe me as a curmudgeon, who is quickly morphing into a cranky old man. 😉
Oh and as an example of daily shit slinging: Literally — I live two doors down from a large, beautiful park. The city provides dispensers for dog-poop bags. Needless to say, the park is full of dog shit. There’s even dog shit directly below the bag dispenser! WTF! I step in it. My dog steps in it. It’s dragged through my house!
I don’t know why people do this. The only conclusion I can come up with is that they are assholes. Literally.

They aren’t just assholes. They’re LAZY assholes, which is the worst kind of asshole.
This strip is really interesting: it could be used to segue into a debate about discrimination, racism and culture.
Yet, all I can think is “dude got really hairy legs”.
Oh yeah absolutely. 🙂 The fact that the antagonist is somewhat African-American makes the situation ironic.
I wish I had more African Americans as characters. In fact if I had to do it over again I would have made Ben and his family Black, but what’s done is done. There will be more opportunities for diverse characters coming up.
And don’t discriminate against people with hairy legs! 🙂
