It’s nice to know he his helmet still has limits. Now let’s also hope that he has difficulties finding the Spire despite his speed.

Seems Simon is still a scientist at heart. What other sort of person would muse on the limitations of their technology in the middle of a hostile situation like that?

Darth Killer – Tony Stark is one of the rare non-villains to get away with arrogance. 🙂

Christopher – He doesn’t have a map does he? We would all be lost without GPS and maps, wouldn’t we?

absconux- Very true. Time is of the essence.

Nemoricus – Great character observation. 🙂

Then again, Jon had a number of stones. What if Simon mixed them up?

This also brings up the point that Simon lacks training in how to rock the stones. While it’s clear he has some natural talent for it, one has to wonder if he isn’t doing as well as he is simply because the Banestone is more powerful and user-friendly than some of the others.

Not to mention that he was trapped inside of it for 5k+ years, so he knows the Banestone’s power pretty well from observing its past rockers. Though I do agree with you that he clearly lacks the skill that comes with practice. Unfortunately, he is both a genius and a scientist, and therefore is used to thinking outside the box. No doubt he will learn pretty quickly (he’s already started to, in fact).
