Since the steel fake nails and iron masks became widespread. Also, if you are an anime-type hero, you can save a lot of time by getting your weapons where you get your hair permed and made standing in those wierd shapes.

I like the effect of “clouding” her speech bubble.

Actually there is. Cole indeed needs to fix up her beauty, and she can’t turn in deerish form right now since she has no more cloth to wear. This reveals us that unlike Drakhyl, Cole doesn’t like staying in dragon form. πŸ™‚

Ok, now that’s just cruel – I snorted milk and cereal through my nose!

“Incredible adventures in an impossible land” indeed.

Look at what I found in a dictionary…
    endstone : (β€²end β€²stōn)
(horology) A flat jewel in a timepiece which acts as a bearing for a pivot.
Just food for thought, but the connections between your Endstone and its real life counterpart,as to what purpose they both serve and the analogy….
I wonder if there’s a soda for thought too πŸ™‚

“timepiece” refers to a clock or watch. I’m not sure exactly what “bearing for a pivot” means (any watchmakers out there?) but I imagine an endstone helps the gears move in a clock.

For this story, the Endstone would seem to be an essential part for a mechanism that appears to interact with time and space.

If you look at the works of a mechanical watch or clock, you may see parts rocking back and forth, those would be pivots. The bearing is where the axle of a pivot (or of a gear) is held in place. The material of the bearings is chosen to have very low friction, so less of the energy of the spring gets wasted. So, yes, the endstone helps the gears to move ^_^
[not a watchmaker, but I often see bearings of a different type in machines at work]

A key artefact to the very fabric of space and time… And the Banestone happens to be one too.

That may be why this 2 opposites can unlock incredible power when combined, and why they can alter the entire reality when used at the Eternity Spire.

I note too the name for this holy location. Eternity of time. That’s one of 2 very important concepts of the universe, the other one being the Infinity of space. There may be an Infinity Spire somewhere, and using the combined power of both ultimate overstones there instead may have a completly different impact on the universe.

Call me perverted but I’m a little disappointed in the fact that with everyone running around without clothes on, there hasn’t been alot of nudity. It seems that evryrtime a chick has no clothes, her hair is conveniently flying throughout the air in front of her female parts. I’m not saying anything needs to be erotic, but a little more realism in the no clothes area be present.

The only thing is, is these were to be drawn, the entire Endstone project would be labelled as 16+ or 18+, and i’m not sure that’s what anyone here wants. :p

With so much free “eye candy” around the internet,I actually find the “unrealistic” images, more “spicy” than nudity.
Perhaps it’s an age thing…or perhaps it’s I had too much “eye candy” and need to detox πŸ™‚

I go back and forth on the nudity.

I originally drew Issue 4 with Kyri topless, but I found the nudity was distracting from the emotional impact of her father being eaten by wolves or her tribe being massacred by a dragon. It became more about her breasts. And then I thought about putting her in a bikini top but that made no sense whatsoever in context of a wild character, so I opted for implied nudity with carefully placed hair as a censor. A little “spice” as Just a reader… points out.

Also as Darth Killer pointed out, I want Endstone to be somewhat work friendly. I push the envelope a little but I want Endstone to be something my family can show their co-workers and friends without being too embarrassed.

Already I show more partial nudity than what you would see on American television. Who knows, I may show even more nudity in the future. Lord knows I would probably get more readers if I had the characters show it all, but whatever. Endstone is what it is, and right now, it’s PG-13.
