Great sense of motion in that last panel, compared to the silence and desolation of the first. I like it. I’m always amused, however, by the fact that only women, apparently, like to fight while half-naked while men are more fully clothed …
Thanks for checking out Endstone, Katy. As for Kyri’s clothing, on the one hand, a wanted her to look as wild and as “native” as I could and that means less clothes. On the other hand, I have to plead guilty. I am a fan of Savage Sword of Conan and stories of that ilk and that’s what I’m going for here. And yes, the women tend to be under-clothed in that genre….
I understand there was a pirate (I don’t remember her name) who used to dress as a man but then would flash her breasts at her more dangerous enemies at some crucial point during especially tough one-to-one fights so that they would be distracted for just a second and thus could be more easily disposed of.
I imagine having to fight a woman dressed like Kyri it would be pretty hard to concentrate, too.

In the ’60s there was a book/comic strip series called Modesty Blaise where the heroine would flash her opponents.
