One man’s horror is another man’s dream come true! What a pompous self important wretch… No concern for actual Free Will…
Granted, he is a bit on the innocent side, but he’s had 5,000 years to consider the true nature of reality and its compensation for meddling with it… Overambitious and stubborn, was he born on the year of the goat? 😀
So I’m wondering, how will Kyri get out of this one? Or will she? If not, and G.A.T.E.S gets his way, will he turn the world into a different version of the endstone world (i.e., *not* the real world)? Also, it seems that 5000 years has eroded his humanity, now he has no qualms about killing Kyri off for standing in his way.
That’s precisely why he’s no longer innocent, or a victim. Morally speaking, the only way to cure him is to show him that he’s become the very evil he wanted to fight off. Similar to Jon needing to learn that each life path in each timeline has its own worth, as i elaborated in a comment of an earlier page.
Something i’d want to be more shown in Endstone future, is that what defines a truely powerful stoner is not the might of his stones, or his stamina when rocking then, but rather his understanding of his stones and the world around them. So far, Jon and his father Pablo are the only stoners i’ve seen doing that, most notably when Jon defeated Matilda Forcestone by suffocating her inside her own shield with his Firestone, then using that experience to gain a new technique using combined rocking, or when Pablo revealed his LASER technique.
With a deeper understanding of his stone, a stoner can virtually perform anything, including emulating the powers of other stones. Thus, Firestone can fly by creating jet-like streams of fire, Quickstone can manipulate winds by running in circular patterns, and even suffocate an opponent by running around them at high velocity, or the (made up by myself) Thunderstone can be used at a very low power level with high precision to brainwash people by manipulating brain bioelectricity.
Should stoners with such a deep connexion to their stones be depicted in the comic, it will definitivly be something to be amazed at. Not to mention a fight between such 2 stoners. But non-stoners would also benefit from knowing how things work, allowing them to overpower stoners with ease by outsmarting them. All those points mean there are incredible possibilities for fighting scenari that are ready to be used, if you can grab them. 😉

I think it’s fairly safe to say he’s gone a bit squirrely in the last five millennium.. 🙂
“Squirrely” LOL. I imagine so.
i forgot to add narrow minded 😛
ahhh haha but all my griping about him aside, this is getting REAAAALLLY good!!! 😀
I’m glad you are enjoying the comic. 🙂
Yay, answers!
Stay tuned. 🙂
Forces that govern the spire? Is there someone we haven’t met?
Probably the programming… something a lot harder to explain to them, for him, i would imagine…
I think he means the laws of Physics, Version 2.0.
Yes. Something like that. 🙂
Laws of Physics 2.0 huh? LOL this is getting even more complicated… 😀

That’s a cool idea, DK. 🙂 There are many things I want to explore in the Endstone universe after this origin tale is complete. 🙂
