Most animals and plantlife has been wiped out by humanity, but propably technology and direct recycling (instead of indirect one using the natural cycle) still allowed human life to contine.
That explains why he had no knowledge of how a Ham Sandwich tested. Or how something as simple as “living plants” could be a suiteable Phase 2. Or why the creact shocked at the sight of living animals.
Interesting theory. 🙂 You will have your answer at the end of this issue. Although I think some of the theories you folks come up with are better than the actual story I have written, LOL. 🙂
You could always make a “Alternate Reality Endstone” where one of those theories are what happened (All the Endstone parts of the worlds are identical, just how the world became the Endstone World is differently).
