Two phrases to avoid: “that’s impossible” and “can do anything.” The first nearly always turns out to be a lie, and you see where the second got Jim Morrison.
Cole’s already learned the first, so I guess Pablo’s about to get a nasty surprize.
I wonder why he calls it a laser beam. I mean, the beam part is pretty obvious; the concepts of such things as “moonbeams” and “sunbeams” far predate technological beams. But “laser” is (as I recall) an acronym, and a technological term. It doesn’t seem like something that a non-technological person would come up with.
Then again, Pablo’s subconscious mind might be quite familiar with technology up to and including lasers, and thus provided the term to his conscious mind accordingly.
Keep your shield up!
Hmm… I wonder why he didn’t teach Jon that.
And if it can cut “anything”, it should be able cut the chain holding the Banestone around her neck…
Good point about the chain. 🙂 But Cole could probably pick up the Banestone before it’s effects wore off and then we’d be back to square one.

The Kings Raven and Raoulefere – Thanks for stoppin’ by. As always I enjoy reading comments. 🙂

Or subconcious link with the “real” dimension where he is a doctor, according to GATES.
Yet another subconscious influence from the ‘real world’, I’m guessing. Looks like it’s not just the Banestone rocker that’s influenced by that.
Indeed. More like The Banestone rocker, through GATES, recieves images from the real world while others have no concious of it.
Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation
And I LOVE Cole’s look when she finds out her invulnerability is a thing of the past.
Something tells me that’s when Kyri will make her entrance with both halves of the Endstone in her possession. 😀
Cole obviously hasn’t read Rule 24.
