“Stop time includes stopping light? I think the reflection in the last panel has to change and not be the same as the panel before.”
It makes sense, as light has to travel too. If time is stopped, light can’t move to reflect off of surfaces, so the image in the mirror would stay the same as it was.
I just thought the last panel was an aside to herself – everything is still going on, but bubbly teen Cole was just throwing her enthusiasm behind the move… We’ll see in the next set, no? π

Then, how can she see? I mean, the light has to enter through her pupils, if the light can travel than means she’s going blind… or I am overthinking this?
You’re absolutely right. π Most sci fi breaks down under scrutiny (warp drive, Starships making sound in space, Bruce Banner’s gaining extra mass from nowhere while changing into the Hulk, etc, etc, ). Hopefully the audience can suspend their disbelief. π
The obvious answer is that time isn’t completely stopped. If it were she wouldn’t be able to move at all and she wouldn’t be able to see.
The question then becomes how much is it slowed down? If it’s slowed down too much, she would have a great deal of trouble going thru air that refuses to move. That is of course ignoring how she would burst into flame once the friction she generates returns to normal time.
Worst is that scene from “X-Men: Days of Future Past” with Quicksilver. I mean, the fact that the bullets don’t seem to be moving means that Quicksilver is running faster than a bullet, yet he takes a plate and throws it at a guards head. If that scene had any really intelligent thought behind it, that guard’s head would have EXPLODED! And then fans of the comic books are fully aware that Quicksilver’s power does not work like that in any way. Quicksilver is merely a mutant who just runs fast. He doesn’t have accelerated senses and would likely have difficulty outrunning a bullet.
You go girl!
Good, Cole, you now have stopped time. And how do you intend to go through the Light shield ? π

New powers!
