UPDATE January 22, 2019
Dearest friends,
I’m sorry to announce that Endstone is cancelled.
Over the past few months I have been trying to clear my schedule to start the next chapter and it just isnβt happening. The truth is I have been busy in other areas of my life and I no longer have the time to give to Endstone.
Looking at the websites stats, I know some of you have been checking in fairly regularly for updates, and I apologize that I have been neglecting the site. It was not my intention to leave you hanging on the story. I hope you understand.
As for the future…. I am not sure. I have no serious plans for other comics at present but that could change. If I decide to do something I will announce it on this URL, so I will keep the website open for now.
Also I may post new art and concepts on my Instagram at:

Most importantly, I wanted to thank all of you for reading the comic over the years. It was my pleasure creating this little tale and I hoped you enjoyed it.
Take care,
Tony
Somehow the scene reminds me of something from the old Tonight Show with Johnny Carson; he would read assignments from grade school children and one was to complete traditional saying. One child finished, “Don’t count your chickens…,” with, “…before they rip your lips off.” As rule 101 of The Evil Overlord List states, “I will not order my trusted lieutenant to kill the infant who is destined to overthrow me — I’ll do it myself.”
Playing your hand a bit early, aren’t we? Heck, Colindra might have even helped outright had she just asked, but yeah “Hey, I killed your mamma and now I’m going to kill you too if you don’t help me find your grandma. Wanna help? It’s for my daughter, you know?”
Somehow I’m thinking the answer will be… A slightly decisive ‘NO’…
Ophelia ain’t the most sensible gal around. I guess that’s what happens when you spend a few centuries sealed in a tomb.
Hey Tony, is everything ok? It’s been a while since we’ve heard from you.
Howdy! Didn’t mean to raise concern but I’ve been super busy during the past few months and I haven’t had time for Endstone unfortunately. I don’t know when that’s going to change. π
Thanks for the concern, my friend. π
Did you ever notice a big cliffhanger seems to keep you waiting?
Hi Tony, as long as you are OK, we will leave a light on for you.
The thrill is killing me!!
As man, just finished reading the entire archives and now I’m wondering how I’m going to survive not knowing if Kyri is still alive or not!
Hmmm, that should be “Aw man”
Damn autocorrect.
I know! I keep checking in, anxiously waiting for an update.
Where are you Tony? I miss your awesome stories.
Merry Christmas to all!
I hope all is well with you, Tony!
Very sorry to hear that Endstone will no longer continue. But OTOH, totally understand that Real Life takes priority, and sometimes Real Life asks for Everything to the exclusion of all else. When this comic is a labor of love with no financial returns, it’s completely understandable that when Real Life calls sometimes you just have no choice but to throw in the towel.
Take care, and best wishes for whatever other endeavors you’re currently engaged in!
Thanks, my friend. I really appreciate your support over the years. π
I’m sorry to see it go but it is understandable, I’ve had to cancel some projects myself of late and know it can be hard to give in and focus on what you need to do. Either way I’m so glad I had the chance to read along with what you did create it was an amazing comic thank you.
You’re welcome. Thanks for the kind words. π
Long time reader, almost never commented. Well, I’m not gonna say I’m not kinda saddened, the comic was quirky and unique, with all its flaws and high notes included. Perfectly understandable though, passion projects often and sadly collide with many other things, responsabilities and even other passion projects!
I’m glad I was here for the duration, at the very least I had all the fun you could offer. Many thanks for sharing your little grand world with us, and good luck with your current and future endeavors, and maybe keep us posted here if you end up decidig to do something else that may interest us (Y)
Thanks! I’ll let you know if another project gets off the ground. I have a few ideas but no time or passion right now to get anything off the ground. π
Similar to Jannard above — I have enjoyed following this story for so long (but am not the commenting type), and am saddened by it ending. It was definitely a terrific ride. Thank you for sharing this fun and quirky adventure, and best of luck with all of your own!
Thanks so much Carol. I appreciate it. π
Nooooooo… well…
*sigh*
Tony, and could you tell us the story at least?
Yeah shoot me an email if you want a short synopsis of the rest of the story. Or maybe if others would like I’ll post it here?
And thanks Renato for your readership!
Hi Tony,
NOOOOOOOOOO! I’d rather have one strip a year, but I understand. It would be nice to get the short form of the story at least.
Thanks my friend. π Yeah I thought about one strip a year but it’s just too slow, IMHO. Truth be told I’ve drawn very little for almost a year now. Maybe I’ll get back into it over the next few months. If I do draw I’d like to try short projects that, if not successful, I can move on to something else… unlike Endstone that took years and years to build.
And as I was saying to Renato, I can post a synopsis here if you’d like or shoot me an email. Thanks!
Hi Tony,
A synopsis on the site would be wonderful! Just to tie a bow on it.
I just read the update and I don’t know what to say. It’s sad when good things end. I really enjoyed the world that you created. And I would really like the synopsis of the rest of the series. I wish you well in everything that you do. Later.
Thank you Edian! I’ll try to put something together over the next few weeks for you guys and gals. π
Sad that itβs ending. A synopsis will be great way to pacify the readers XD.
Hi Tony. I just read through the whole archives and I must say, you have done a spectacular job. I enjoyed reading this comic very much.
Happy Thanksgiving to all!
Tony, I hope everything is going well.
Hey! Things are going good! I appreciate you asking, my friend. I hope things are well with you. Haven’t done much on the comics front. I did toy around with a new comic (you can see parts of it on my Instagram) but I lost interest. No Endstone news to report unfortunately. π
Happy Thanksgiving!
Please count me in as someone who’d like a synopsis of where the story was going.
Thanks for your interest, Jeff! π
Best of luck in your future endeavours. I liked endstone while it lasted. Even bought an issue. π
Thanks! I really appreciate your support. π
Oh, Tony. I’m so sorry now that I lost touch with you and Endstone and my fellow Endstoners for so long. Not that my presence would have changed this outcome. But perhaps both our lives would have been ever so slightly richer if I’d been around to participate in the banter. “Shoulda, coulda, woulda,” as they say.
Anyway, I’m glad I finally made it back to catch up. Endstone is – was, I guess π – one of the finest and certainly the most unique and innovative webcomic I’ve ever had the fortune to encounter. Wherever you go in life from here, please don’t give up on your art. Despite your occasional protests to the contrary, you are a hugely talented artist, and it would be a tragedy if your art ceased to bring joy to you and the world. ( Note that both of those recipients are important, however. π)
Did you ever get around to putting together a story synopsis? I’d love to read that, if so. I’ll check back here periodically, so if you read this wall of text, just reply (if you don’t mind) and let me know what you need me to do to receive that.
Thank you, Tony, for everything! π
Hi TekServer! Good to see you again and thanks for taking the time to write such an encouraging comment! I’m still around and I want to do more comics but it takes such an incredible amount of my time. I’m struggling with making a commitment right now to comics. Hopefully that will change in the coming year. Again, thanks for the kind words my friend. π
BTW – Please see my other comment regarding the synopsis. Thanks!
Thanks for all the comments my friends! It’s great to know there’s still interest in Endstone.
I know I promised a synopsis but I’m sorry to report I cannot deliver it. I work in rough outline form — mostly unfinished dialogue and fragmented description notes for my eyes only. The scenes really come together later when I story board and draw the page. Every time I sit down to write the synopsis it becomes laborious, having to flesh out the narration and finalize the dialogue. It’s exactly like writing a novel and that’s something I’m not very good at (that’s why Ichoose to be a visual story-teller obviously).
So I’m very sorry that I cannot finish the synopsis for you. Who knows? Maybe someday I can finish this story as a comic. So for now I’m going to have to unfortunately leave this story open…. π
I’m sorry to hear that, but I understand. I’ll sign up for the email notification and hope to hear from you when you’re back. π
Still missing endstone
Hey Renato! I’m glad you are still thinking about Endstone, my friend. No updates unfortunately for various reasons. I hope all is well with you. π
Merry Christmas to all!
I hope all is well with you, Tony.
All is well, my friend. π Good to hear from you and Happy Holidays. π Sorry no updates to Endstone in the near future, unfortunately. But never say never I suppose. π Take care and have a great new year.
Merry Christmas, Tony. Glad to hear you’re well!
π
Right back at you, my friend. π
A little hello from one of your readers. I enjoyed endstone a lot and wanted to know what happens to its author. Do you have any news good or bad to share to us ?
Not necessarily endstone news but how are you doing ? π
Don’t know about Tony, but a few of us readers still monitor the rss feeds.
π
@TekServer – Good to see you around. π Hope all is well an Happy Holidays.
@Satan – Hi! I’m still around, thanks! I still plan on maintaining the website for anyone who wishes to still read it.
As for news, I did work on two comics and most of the pages can be found on my instagram link at the top of the page. This year I didn’t do much comics-wise. I am writing another Endstone story. I go back and forth whether I want to do a soft reboot or just continue with a new story.
Other than that, things are going well. I hope all is well with you my friend and I appreciate you stopping by. I’ll be sure to post any future comics related news here. Happy Holidays. π

I’m a new reader, not quite sure how I stumbled upon, but I’d like to say that this has been an excellent read with fantastic art. I’m definitely going to look into your other work and follow you there, but just know that there are new fans who are finding your work.
Hello! Thanks for the taking time to post a reply. π This comic was a huge undertaking for me (obviously, lol) and I’m glad folks are still enjoying it. I actually have another Endstone story ready to go and I’m trying to find the time to get it going. Hopefully sometime next year. Take care and thanks, Tony
Woohoo!! I knew there was a reason I was keeping this in my rss feed list. (And no, the reason is NOT that I’m very slow and lazy about cleaning old feeds out of the list. … Alright, that’s not the only reason, okay? π)
All kidding aside, I’m very glad we might see a return of Endstone. Rock on, stoners! π
