At least that’s the rumor.

I love the idea of Hippo Cats, it brought to mind a sort of mutant turtle, hyperforce , Samurai Pizza Cat show.
Again, I love the atmosphere in this panel and the hand with the rings.
He thanks for the kudos on the panel my friend. I didn’t know how to color night scenes before but I think I might be developing a technique that works. 🙂
She makes it sound as if being undead was something undesirable, or straight out abominable… Who wouldn’t like to “live” (in the broadest definition of that word) forever?
As in Lindy’s case, she said she has lost her sense of taste. Personally, I’d rather be dead than “live” eternally lacking something which brought me pleasure in (true) life.
@Alamut and @GumbyDammit You folks bring up some great points. 🙂 First off, I don’t think Kyri had a problem with Pablo and the Gravestone before, but now that she’s confronted Ophelia the Livingstone about raising the dead, she’s has questions about life and death. And as for the idea of immortality with the Gravestone…. this is the main theme of this story-arc and will be addressed. 🙂
I’m with Gumby on this one. Life is precious because it’s limited: we’d better make the most of it. Also, while it would be nice to watch my grandchildren grow up, it would also be painful to watch everyone and everything you’ve known fade away too…
Plus, because there’s only one Lifestone (??), She’ll never get to see her husband again. That’s harsh…
You’ve summed up the negative aspects of the Gravestone nicely. There’s no easy answers and obviously the characters will explore this. Hopefully to everyone’s satisfaction. 🙂
I wonder if the overstone used to amplify the Toadstone to turn everyone into toads would do the same with the gravestone?
I think it’s safe to assume. 🙂
I’m curious as to how these two stayed together for nine years. John clearly isn’t interested in thinking about Kyri’s feelings or about understanding her. I wonder how they compromise on problems. John doesn’t seem like a very good husband even without the Banestone.
I think that’s a fair observation. 🙂 More on that coming shortly.
Is Kyri thinking about John’s feelings? Two way street.
He is taken by dad to where he didn’t know and given a choice without wife around to talk to about his mom based on his dad’s wishes.
Kyri sneaks off late at night and has a handsome male deer come frolicking iwth her…
IMO not just a blame the male for everything situation…
(in this situation is Kryi, John, Dad *and* Mom’s feelings as well as daughter who seems happy to see grandma, etc…
Yes it is a two way street, David. Great points!
