Hi Tony, I finally figured out what I was missing. It was completely my own alleged brain not firing on all cylinders. I was, indeed, overthinking and trying to make something out of nothing. It is a classic, “it isn’t you, its me,” moment.
Hmm. Seems everyone’s attention is on granma’s punchline, but what about panel 1??? “He’s not my boyfriend.” “WHY NOT?” I see where this is going, with granma’s prodding… 😛 (But then we knew that all along, it’s just that Cole hasn’t accepted it yet.)
This raises the question: if you get bitten by one of these radio-active zombies, do you get super-zombie-powers?
Zombie-man: My zombie sense is tingling! (arm falls to the floor)
“Zombie-man, does everything a zombie can!
He’s slow, he’s brainless,
He’s undead and mostly harmless!
Zombie-man, zombie-man
Does everything a zombie can!
Its body pieces are falling off
He really likes beef stroganof!”
Ok, the last rhyme was kinda of a coup-out, but in my defense rhymes are hard. And, hey, beef sandwiches are delicious, and those zombies like sandwiches!
Love Granma’s reaction… this person is horrible… at exterior decorating! Haha!
Glad you like it. 🙂 Originally it was Cole’s line, but I gave it to Lindy to show how her personality is similar to Cole’s.
Note to self: Don’t read Endstone while drinking. XD
Or maybe drinking might add to the enjoyment. 🙂
Today’s punchline almost made me choke, though. XD
Why do I feel there is something I am missing something? I understand the building joke, but I feel there is something else…or, I am overthinking.
Is something not clear or are you expecting something to happen? 🙂

No problem at all my friend. 🙂 As always I appreciate you taking the time to comment. 🙂 It keeps me going.

Yes Cole and Ben’s relationship (or lack thereof) will definitely be explored in this story. Stay tuned. It may not turn out as expected… 🙂
