Is that Dayton, Ohio? (Or whatever the stoneverse equivalent of Ohio is?) Methinks our mysterious exploding pyramid at the beginning of this episode may possibly be at Dayton (or at least nearby)…
Basic, menial tasks, hmm? Sounds about right for the Zombies’ demonstrated intelligence level (or lack thereof) thus far – muscle memory, established routine, and basic commands are easy, but actual intelligent thought has yet to be demonstrated.
So, some cousin or bastardized copy of the Gravestone perhaps? Enough “uhmph” to animate the body and reconstitute memory, but NOT powerful/refined enough to summon/simulate/etc. higher brain function.
It reminds me of super-low-calorie diets in a way; the body can live on it for a while, while the mind all but shuts down to conserve energy. My limited understanding of the science there is that the brain’s a glorified meat-computer, and true sentient thought is the equivalent of a highly CPU-intensive task, and therefore very energy-intensive.
Methinks something is special about Dayton…
Pretty sure that’s where Mr. Holmes is headed next. 🙂
Propably that wierd tomb from way back in the beginning of this Storyarc.

Yes without spoiling anything it is the stoneverse’s version of Dayton, Ohio. 🙂
I come for the comic, I stay for the comment.
Me too. 🙂

End of Line
I think that’s a fair assessment, DNS. 🙂 We’ll see how the zombies play out…
