Oooh, nice art. It does give a peaceful, sacred vibe. By the way, I think I’ve forgotten the name of the Deer God(dess?). Anybody remember what is it?
Wait.
Pablo and Colindra are alone in a secluded place and nobody knows they’re there. So… when is the ambush going to happen?
(Years of D&D have ruined my capacity for being non-paranoid)
She’s a teenager, not a doll. She may fancy fashion, but she also has her emotionly strong side, and this place is connected to that. 😉
She could have aimed at St Louis as well, but too risky i think. 😉
That’s a great observation, Leon. 🙂 I originally had a line in there about how Cole felt this place was the most beautiful place she had ever visited. For some reason or another it was dropped in later drafts.
I got the uncomfortable laugh part, that did come through. It was only the jaw that I was uncertain. It worked either way, but it is better with the jaw drop.

Glad you like the art. 🙂 I’ve been experimenting with a new brush set in Clip Studio Paint (my art application) and I’m excited about the results.
I agree, you can really feel the fairy forest style
@Darth Killer: Thank you. 🙂
@Silly Name: Oh, and the deer goddess is “Vale.”
Who is Vala? I don’t remember…
Good question. “Vala” means “Mom” in Deerish. So that would refer to Kyri. 🙂
Interesting that she chose this place, and not a beauty parlor.

I can’t decide whether Grandpa’s reaction is a jaw drop, or just his usual jaw position? I could see it as something that would cause his jaw to drop.
It’s a jaw drop of surprise. 🙂 And Cole is supposed to be having an uncomfortable laugh. I don’t know if that came across either.
