Chapter: Issue 13 (Volume 3)
Characters: Bennet Quandel, Colindra Montaine, Gog, Kyri Thunderhead, Pablo Montaine, Toadstone, Vandric the Grim
Endstone is a fantasy webcomic, comic, graphic novel with post-apocalyptic tendencies.
Deer don’t strike me as being particularly “huggy.”
No they most certainly are not. LOL. 🙂
Love the expression on Kyri’s face in the last panel!
By the way, is there a list or guide somewhere to all of the Stones that have appeared so far in Endstone?
Not as far as i know, but some of us try to keep track. :p
Aside from Megareck, no new stone in a long while so far.
We should start a wiki.
Done and done.

Everybody start puking information all over it.

Will do, thanks. 🙂
Just created, as template staring points, 2 pages : Kyri Thunderhead and Dragonstone (the overstone). Not sure how to make them visible to the wiki, though, i’m not familiar with wiki editing… 😉
Also, who’s the stupid that stole my wikia username in 2 of its forms ? And i know it’s stolen, as i can’t recieve the password reminder e-mail…
An annoying issue us internet denizens must face – username sniping. Us Darths have it pretty bad.

Hey a Wiki is very cool. I’ve been meaning to do something like that for the site but haven’t had the time. 🙂
For what it’s worth these are my personal notes that I use to track who has what stone: (r=ring n=necklace)
Jon: Firestone (r), Quickstone(r), Forcestone (r), Angelstone (n)
Cole: Dragonstone (r), Jigstone(r), Orbstone(r), Toadstone (r)
Kryi: Endstone (n), Charmstone(r)
Gog: Healstone (pocket- chain)
Bolo: Rainstone (loose)
Pablo – Lightstone (n), Gravestone (n)
Vault: Headstone(r)
The “Vault” is something I have in my notes that will not be shown in Volume 3 (not relevant to the story). I figure the family has to have a place to keep powerful and dangerous stones that they will use only on occasion. It’s in the Stone Rocker Inn somewhere. Maybe underground. Maybe only the Endstone can open it.
This will help a lot, thanks!

The wiki would include formerly owned stoned as well, though. :p
Hey guys and gals that Wiki page is very cool! Thanks for starting that. 🙂 I don’t have much time lately but I may drop in and add stuff too.
I’ve added a link to the menu bar.
Kyri should probably have charmed him to sleep instead of charming him to friendship. :-°
Is that not kinda like lighting him into sleep or friendship using hte Lightstone?
For all thier power, stones are rather limited in thier scope
Depends both on the stone and its user. With Pablo being such a versatile and powerful Lightstone master, i think he was more afraid of the risks with lowering his guard even for a sligth moment rather than the strength of the light bubble itself.
I figure the Charmstone probably can’t force someone to do anything extraordinary or harmful. However it makes the “victim” very susceptible to suggestion and influence. Also, it can be used for seduction invoking passion in the “victim” .
So it’s basically a slightly-more-powerful Charm Person spell from D&D then? Wait, I think that one’s SRD…
Yep: http://www.dandwiki.com/wiki/SRD:Charm_Person
Basically, it has immense control over the target, until you attempt to make them do something self-destructive or sufficiently at odds with their personality.
Hmm, It’s be interesting to see if it affects non-humanoid creatures such as the Toadmen, Undead such as Pablo, or temporarily shapechanged creatures such as the Dragonstone rocker.
From what we’ve seen so far though, the Toadmen seem too dumb to be affected; Cole and Drakhyl were both affected by the Banestone’s mind-warping side-affect while in Dragon form; and Pablo’s a wildcard – he has a mind, but no brain, and we don’t know if the Charmstone is psychic, chemical, or something altogether different in its function.

For some reason, the charmstone (and the mindstone) makes me more uncomfortable than all others.
Well, sure. The others can only kill or maim, the Charmstone controls you like a glorified sock puppet – and leaves you with full memory of what happened after the fact. I’d personally rate it as one of the most dangerous of all Overstones for that very reason.
Hell, even the Headstone basically kills the target as far as said target is concerned.
