So we finally know who Zynkron is. Odd language shift, but it makes sense. I’m trying to remember the 50’s Fantasy story that made all of Rushmore’s faces gods, with a surprise for the Amazon sent to seek them when she beheld the faces of Jarj, Tomaz, Tehdi, and Ibrim.
I wasn’t aware of that 1950s fantasy story – but it sounds like a great idea. 😉 Also, I wanted to reveal “Zynkron” back in the first volume but I cut the scene to move the story along. It fit here. Hopefully. 🙂
I’ll have to find the name of it, if I can only dig up the Asimov collection it reappeared in. And I think having more material than you can ever reveal is a sign of a well-crafted world.
