Wait a minute… This arc is supposed to be undead-related. We have the Megarek, a stone amplifier, in an area where people worship (or used to) the god of the Underworld. And right next to it we have Pablo lightly carrying his Gravestone in his fingers ?
What could possibly go wrong from that, I wonder ? 😀
Not to mislead you folks, but Pablo has the toadstone in his hand. Yes, the lightstone is on the oval pendant on his chest. It’s barely visible, but the squarish pendant below his neck houses the gravestone.
Actually, I am wondering if the Toadstone can be used to undo the transformation at all. As far as we know, it’s used to create and control Toadmen: no mention of reversing the process.
Also, may I point out how Pablo is, possibly, the most skilled Stoner “alive”?
With *only* the LightStone he is capable of creating light (duh), launching laser beams, turning himself invisible, light his cigar… He has managed to turn the LighStone in an incredibly versatile tool. Imagine what he could do with more stones!
I disagree. Pablo is a grandmaster of the Lightstone, which makes him probably more skilled with that stone than Gog is with the Healstone. That’s saying something.
But look at Jon. He’s the only character to have ever been able to combine stone abilities. In an old discussion with Tony, i was confirmed it was Jon’s signature skill. It takes big knowledge and understanding of stonecraft to do that.
Yes, Pablo is incredibly skilled with his Lightstone, but overall he’s still not as good a stoner as Jon. :p
Of course, Jon is capable of rocking more Stones at once, which puts him a step above practically anybody else.
But Pablo’s ingenuity is pretty awesome too (and I’m sure some of it rubbed on his son). While his skills with the Lightstone are also due to the long time he spent rocking it, they also imply that given enough time he could find new and unexpected uses for other Stones, too.
That’s part of mastering a stone. Look at Gog, nobody so far can use the Healstone like he can because having been using it so long he’s mastered it, same way Pablo has mastered the Lightstone. And pretty sure the same can be said about the Toadstone and the current bad guy whose real name we’ll never know. :p
Let Jon enough time to master his stones, and he’ll be able to combine them in masterful ways. Ever wondered what a levitating fire typhoon would do ? 😉
That was easy.
Pablo, as always, is the man… a skeleton is a man?
PS: I guess that is a good joke in the afterworld :p
“a skeleton is a man?”
This needs to be explored. 🙂
Philosoraptor conundrum: If skeletons got no balls, but do have a lot of boners… are they man?
And is a cartoon skeleton… preanimated?
As someone mentionned in the comments of an earlier page : when you’re a skeleton, careful not to think about too many existential questions… 😀
It’s not over yet. But still i guess that’s one thing done. Completly forgot about Pablo. 🙂
I’m just waiting for the vote incentive where there’s one of those cliche Loony Toons-style cliffs in the background.
End of Line
Ha Ha ha. I’m already doing a parody on Disney so why not Warner Bros. too. 😉

The Stone he is carrying in his hand is the Lightstone. The Gravestone is around his neck.

Oh, my bad. I have to say, though, it’s a bit hard to tell which stone is which when they aren’t shown close-up.
So, considering Pablo has the Toadstone now… Could he revert its effects?
I hope not, or if so not easily. That idiot over there still has to remain the actual Toadstone master, after all…

Pablo will have to kiss every transformed person in the world to cure them.

Pablo may have croaked a long time ago, but he’s no toady.
Called it last time.
Not that that prediction was rocket science.
