He’s the guy Jon (as the Banestone rocker) originally got it from, who then spent years getting the Firestone with which to wreak his fiery vengeance. Which promptly failed.
Apparently, he got the thing back at some point in the interim since the last arc.
Absent since the beginning of the arc, much like Herrik left for his own path, though we’ve been promised to learn “soon” about Pablo’s whereabouts. :-°
Actually, he’s up in the air at the beginning of this arc. I’ve decided he’s probably going to do ‘death from above’ on Jackass there.
Also, this amplifier must do more than just widen the effect of an Overstone, since before ‘all’ the Toadstone has done, so far as I’ve been able to tell, is produce a horde of toad warriors from thin air. The transforming bit seems to be new, or surely Col would’ve used it on Vandric when they were fighting.
Well you’re saying that, but here we’re facing the original Toadstone user with a personality to match, would you expect anything else than a toad-related scheme ? :p
A planet full of toads would probably make most people want to croak themselves. Just think of the planet having things coordinated into Bud, Wi, and Ser all of the time. (OK, so those were frogs, close enough).
Scarier, it would make for an actual peaceful work, albeit at the cost of free will. That can bring some new ideas for “bad” guys wanting to make the world a better place through amoral methods…
He knows her by name!
Actually this guy is the Toadstone/Firestone rocker from Issue 2. Kyri kicked out his front tooth in the past: http://endstone.net/comic/issue-2-webpage-18/
But that was a long long time ago!
Didn’t remember, but now that you mention it.
But I thought the toadstone was recovered from this guy.

End of Line
Colindra will not be amused …
to say the least! 😉
If Colindra manages to rock her dragon stone, will she be a giant toad-dragon?
Wait what ? Wasn’t Kyri already generating an endstone bubble ?
I guess the power of Megarek overcame the bubble. Kyri probably has remained human only because she is carrying the Endstone on her person.
You’re probably right. Well i guess now Kyri’s gonna need her nuns martial arts, specially her perssure point strikes technique…
Odd. I wouldn’t have thought Vandrick would be affected. Isn’t he immune to Stoner magick?
Immune? No, merely created by it.
End of Line
Hm. Where’s Pablo?

Actually, Cole created an army of Toadmen by transforming common toads. I guess that’s how it happened the other times, too.
That’s how normally the Toadstone works. But being amplified by Megarek is probably what makes it work on more advenced species.
OK If I of not ruling the world, and ruling a world of toads. I think I would choose to NOT rule the world. Ewww
* If I had the choice of*.
Makes SOME sense now
Bit tired today
