Whelp, I’m confused.
My first assumption is that despite Jon’s assertion that he was truly ready to will the real magipocalypse world back into existence, he nevertheless screwed up and birthed a renewed “modern” world like Simon wanted after all, but without Simon as ruler. So, in most respects, the good guys lost and we have no clue how they went wrong.
Or, maybe, modern Earth like Simon remembers (and as we readers know) was really the real world the whole time, and this truly is reality reasserting itself. Magipocalypse world was a video-game-esque fantasy created by Simon’s mad miracle machine, and the core breach merely set everything back to true normal.
Can I get some author-itative clarification?
(And if this is truly the last page, regardless of which of these scenarios [or others] is correct, I’d love to comprehend what happened to all the other characters. What are their places in this world? Most importantly, is Primrose a dog instead of a human? If so, then that opens some questions.)
Having seen the vote incentive, I’m even more convinced Punklindra is the better choice. This smacks of reality; the other seems more like an over-the-top comedy.
And this better not be the end, ’cause whether or not the Montaines live on Earth, Tony does, and he can be tracked down. I’d hate for Larry the Arm and Thick Bill to have to pull his head between his legs and behind his back using that goatee as a handle. It’d be a real shame, it would.
I know, but I still think it illustrates the effectiveness of your alteration, despite the angst it caused you.
I don’t know if you altered the other comics yet, but Punklindra’s hair, tats, and piercings would likely horrify vain Cole just as much as obesity. You could have punk music play around her instead of the rain of potato chips; such sounds would seem demonic to anyone not aware of electrical amplification and effects. the idea of being so altered as to *want* to listen to it endlessly could be horrifying indeed, a true fate worse than death. After all, some people think that anyway. 😀
What I’m trying to say is the change looks more and more solid to me. ‘Rebel Teen’ may be an old trope, but that doesn’t mean it’s not an effective one.
Cool. Thanks for letting me know Punk Cole is working. 🙂
That’s a good idea for punk music instead of a rain of potato chips. 🙂 Actually I was thinking cigarette butts might be a cool substitute as well. And honestly I haven’t updated that page because 1. It would be a lot of work and 2. It’s one of my favorite Endstone pages and is sorta’ a portfolio piece. It’s hard to kill your darlings…
And Cole is thin in this one.
She also seems happy? I mean, to be comfortable enough to be dancing in company with her parents seems happy to me.
Unless she only does it because it annoys and embarrasses them 🙂
Pretty sure the second is the case.
Seems like the plot has gotten thick. time to stir it! 😛
Yeah but Cole looks like an idiot. Which is sad. I liked her.
More like she’s disconnected from reality, which always has been the whole point of both fat Cole and punk Cole. 🙂
Ah yes, that is the one really sad/bad part about all stories. The End.
So any plans for new stories/comics? Or just taking a long, well deserved rest?
Argh, he tricked me. It was not really the end after all.
Not trick, my friend.
Entertain. 🙂
I’m not sure if I am able to like this end.

Great observations. 🙂 Hopefully all will be clear . . .
Answers in another plate to come i guess.

LOL. Just remember my friend, “a full beard is much more effective for pullin’” – I think Abraham Lincoln said that.
And the vote incentive was a joke someone requested in the other thread. 🙂
