Sniper was at close range, indoors, firing on an unmoving, unobstructed target, and didn’t go for a kill shot… Can’t manifest good help these days I guess .-.
Did Simon do something to heal his laser wound? It doesn’t seem to be bothering him anymore.
Remember that it’s been all of about 30 seconds since Simon pulled out the Endstone on Pablo earlier. Webcomic format, especially when the scene in question borders on monologue, tends to blur the passage of time. Actually, ANY written format has this trait, although I would not go so far as to call it a “flaw” in the format. It’s not a bug, it’s a “feature.”

Might turn on how well he understands what he is manifesting. . . .
That has been a problem on a larger scale.
I think the sniper was aiming to shoot the stone out of his hand, rather than kill him.
Computer, that core breach’s been imminent for awhile now…I think you’re pulling my leg.

End of Line
I wonder if he has the juice to keep using all these stones. He looks to be rocking at least two of them.
Do I sense a ‘feeding him more than he can chew’ strategy?
