Hmmm… did those nuns train Kyri in bullet-catchin’?
Also, assuming he does manage to grease Kyri, I’d say Prim needs to be Simon’s next target. It won’t actually help him rule the world to do that, but it might mean that world is quieter.
Of the villains, I prefer G.A.T.E.S. He is at least an insane kind of chaos. Primrose is a spoiled PitA with political power. Will she start demanding that people wear hats and no one but her can wear purple?
Well, let’s hope Thunderhead actually thinks to DOOOOOOODDDDDDDGE this time. We all remember what happened the last time a gun was pointed at her. Though granted it’s a little hard to dodge bullets regardless. Maybe use Primrose as a meat shield?
Random thought: did GATES know how to use a gun from before the SPIRE blew up, or is he just figuring it out now? Granted, many guns don’t have much of a learning curve either way; this is mostly just the back of my mind asking questions again.
Interestingly enough, the last gun was created in their world by people (He said that he found someone to replicate it) whereas this gun was created by the ‘Orange Juice’ Helmet. Aaaaand I just realized that Kyri DOESN’T have the EndStone soooooo….. yeah.
Bullets are way to fast to dodge. However, one cannot say the same about the decision made by the brain to pull the trigger. So yeah, bullet trajectory can be dodged. 🙂
Now that she knows it even is a danger and cosndiering she can split an ovestone I wager she can dodge a bullet.
The biggest “leaning curve” thing about a gun would be the recoil and to hold it steady. Both things the Banestone helps with – Superstrenght vs Recoil and Insanity vs the impulse not to shoot people.
This is a good question: Is Simon skilled in the use of a firearm? Aren’t all Americans citizens? 😉
I thought about this, and I think Simon does know how to use a gun. He wished for one rhetorically while frustrated with aiming Banestone blasts. A gun is more familiar to him, so yes, I think he does have experience.

No, unfortunately there are no guns in nun-fu. 😉 And it warms my heart to know you hate Primrose (the writing is working. :))
Heck, if he killed Primrose, people might recognize him as a hero instead of a villain.

Moar Primrose to come. 🙂

I have to admit, Primrose is good at being Primrose, so she has that down, if nothing else.
A lifetime of practice for sure. 🙂
