the way his lips go out and his teeth get all super-defined is crazy-gross but pretty epic too… kind of hard to describe…. but it jsut goes to show how screwed up in the head he is! 😀
Pretty sure anything that can contain a fiery inferno and is durable enough to survive the structural stresses a dragon-sized object suffers under gravity, not to mention is ALSO light enough to allow flight, can shrug off a bullet like rain.
Yes the SPIRE is still working on some level. Notice how Simon’s helmet has been glowing the whole time since he’s returned to the real world. His helmet is sort of the over-over-stone.
The only way this development is going to be problematic is if he can fire Banestoneenergy Bullets. Or uses it to summon something much worse then a gun.
Now i did not expect his helmet to be still working. That’s not going to be pretty. As for the gun, Cole’s only hope right now is her mother, since Kyri is the only one with gun experience.
Actually, would be interesting if it was intentionnal : Simon, when summonning the power of the whishing machine directly from the helmet, could be resonating with whatever overston he’s rocking at the time, overringing temporarily their color. 🙂
Correct on both counts. Kyri has experience facing fire-arms, and Jon still has the memories of his alternate self. We’ll see if he gets a chance to use them. 🙂
He might have wished for a gun, but did he wish for bullets? Does he even know how to fire one or that 9mm versus a dragon might not even dent her scales? He might have better luck with a Eagle 50, though recoil will likely knock him on his back end.
Actually, I really wanted Simon to have an AR-15 assault rifle, but a hand gun just seemed more appropriate as something that would appear out of thin air in his hand.

I kind of get a chuckle out of how he looks with those clenched teeth. 🙂 I dunno where it came it from.
GATES better hope he never does that while talking or any other time his tongue is near his teeth.
Very true. But it would shut him up and that’s a good thing. 😉
oh no.. . . he has a gun. . . wether he can use it or not, it will not be pretty.
Yes, he brought a gun to a Dragon fight. It’s like bringing a knife to a gun fight, but the guy with the gun is doubly screwed.
Good point. I wonder if Dragons are bullet proof?

Simon’s wishing machine is apparently still working. This could be very bad indeed…

He may have a gun, but did he wish for bullets to go with it?

This is the key. Just what can that helmet do?

We’ll see how it plays out. And notice the helmet has been glowing. . . 😉
Not just the helmet, is it ? I see the Banestone turning yellow as well.
Good catch, but it’s just bleed from the yellow color I used on the energy release from the gun. My bad. 🙂

i meant “overriding” :-°
Scrap that, Jon has his modern world knowledge now as well, he can grab the gun with his angelstone/quickstone combination.

So,he wish for a gun “gkkk” and he obtain a Glock.https://www.google.ca/search?q=glock&client=opera&hs=6ir&channel=suggest&tbm=isch&source=iu&imgil=DBB358XmcAjPGM%253A%253Bhttps%253A%252F%252Fencrypted-tbn3.gstatic.com%252Fimages%253Fq%253Dtbn%253AANd9GcSiFVfoWfNPUPR0rAWa1Z3KltibrYskOzf4IvQUDJyOnOCJIEuKOA%253B1940%253B1327%253BV8cp-EvJqOGcFM%253Bhttp%25253A%25252F%25252Fen.wikipedia.org%25252Fwiki%25252FGlock&sa=X&ei=34i4Up6hFoXA2QW0iIDQAw&ved=0CI0BEP4dMAs#facrc=_&imgdii=_&imgrc=DBB358XmcAjPGM%3A%3BV8cp-EvJqOGcFM%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fupload.wikimedia.org%252Fwikipedia%252Fcommons%252F2%252F28%252FGLOCK_19.JPG%3Bhttp%253A%252F%252Fen.wikipedia.org%252Fwiki%252FGlock%3B1940%3B1327
Good catch. 🙂 My version of a Glock 17.

Ooooh, those are fun to shoot. And true enough. As insane as he is, I do wonder what the gun will fire. Cans of SPAM? Oh! I know.. Potato Chips!
Please tell me you saw this coming!
“Oh, I wish I had an Oscar Meyer wiener…”
