Endstone is a fantasy, scifi, post-apocalyptic comic, webcomic, graphic novel.
Time to affect the living as well via the river, ain’t it ?
Interesting thought as always, DK. 🙂 We’re going to find out one way or another very very soon. 🙂
Judging from the growth around Hexler’s lovelies, these restless dead seem to be raised by a massive amount of flower power. Is it the Bloomstone that wills life to be where life should not be? Questions, questions…
Rather i think the flowers are part of the furniture
Look back at the last few pages of this issue. 😉
15 minutes! We’re going to see epic battle very soon, I’m guessing.
Good guess,? Hopefully however I hope you are surprised. ?
I like surprises!
Since I saw this one I have had:
The flowers that bloom in the spring,
Tra la,
Breathe promise of merry sunshine —
As we merrily dance and we sing,
Tra la,
We welcome the hope that they bring,
Tra la,
Of a summer of roses and wine,
From The Mikado running through my alleged mind. Why do I think a happy result is not in store?
Cool. I’ve never heard of The Mikado before… Gilbert and Sullivan, right? Might even make an interesting Tolkien poem. 🙂
Yes, it is Gilbert and Sullivan. The tune may be heard here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OH7K82xbTsU and I suspect the result in this line will be more like the second verse:
The flowers that bloom in the spring,
Tra la,
Have nothing to do with the case.
I’ve got to take under my wing,
Tra la,
A most unattractive old thing,
Tra la,
With a caricature of a face,
With a caricature of a face.
And that’s what I mean when I say, or I sing,
“Oh, bother the flowers that bloom in the spring.”
Tra la la la la,
Tra la la la la,
“Oh, bother the flowers of spring.”
It is one of their best shows.
Right on. 🙂
Sooo… No-one is going to comment on Hexler being enthusiastic to have had his “girlfriends” resurrected? And the fact that (as far as we know) these girls are basically brain-dead? And that he’s probably, you know…
Yeah, this is unsettling.
And what’s even more unsettling… and I didn’t think of this until after I posted this page… is why are his six most favorite girlfriends all dead?
I was wondering why they were dead, but thought it might get revealed later. It does not seem likely in terms of probability and what of his least favorite girlfriends, what happened to them?
Well, they live in a floating island… I guess Hexler keeps procrastinating about installing railing.
Hahaha. 🙂
Well, this thought reminds me of a part of “To Keep My Love Alive” from the Broadway show “A Connecticut Yankee” that runs:
Sir Francis was a singing bird
A nightingale. That’s why
I tossed him off my balcony
To see if he could fly
Morgan le Fay (Vivienne Segal) sings of all the husbands she “bumped off,” because:
I never divorced them-
I hadn’t the heart.
Yet remember these sweet words
“Till death do us part.”
I wonder…
