Endstone is a work in progress, and sometimes I need to go back and make adjustments to make the story clearer (hopefully
).
I have a suspicion that Kyri’s motivation is not entirely clear, so I reworked page 19 of Issue 1 to drive the point a little more. Basically, she won’t trust Jon because he terrorized the world (and Kyri and Cole) when he rocked the Banestone and was known as Time Killer. She wants to save her daughter but doesn’t know what kind of person she’s grown up to be. And lastly, Kyri’s outlook is about having faith. She doesn’t understand life’s mysteries but has faith that a higher power guides us, and that things happen for a reason and will work out for the better (the opposite of what I mostly believe – LOL).
As the story progresses these things will be touched on more.
This page has been up for about a week so if you’ve recently read the Endstone archives you may have seen it. If not, here it is:
I added a bio for Herrik the Snake in the cast section. You can also read it here:
Herrik
Aliases: The Snake, Herrik the Great Race: Human Height: 5’10″ Weight: 185 lbs. Hair: Light Brown Eyes: Blue
Herrik is perhaps the greatest hand to hand fighter in all of North America. And he knows it.
Trained as a fighting-priest at the Temple of the God Alvik in Memphis, Herrik has mastered many forms of martial arts. However, for all his martial prowess, Herrik lacks the ability to rock the over-stones. Because only monks with innate stoner abilities can obtain the highest levels in Alvik’s clergy, Herrik became bitter and left the order.
During the ensuing years Herrik has lived by both his fists and his wit, yet he still harbors bitterness towards stoners. This is the main reason he has joined forces with Kyri Thunderhead and her power disrupting Endstone.

One of my other interests besides art is economics. It’s a new interest born out of the current financial crisis. While I realize this sort of content might not be in line with a fantasy webcomic, I thought I would experiment with some new content. So here we go:
This is a clip of Rep. Grayson of Florida laying out the case, in quite a humorous way on the House floor, as to why the United States Federal Reserve should be audited. I know many of you readers out there are not US citizens, but I know most of you have central banks that are just as opaque as the Federal Reserve and are probably up to the same tricks.
The Fed is spending my money without representation or oversight. And they can secretly aid their cronies with my money. And it really burns me.
Sometimes, I don’t really know what to do with the blog part of the website. So I guess I’ll just post some miscellaneous art from time to time if that’s all right.
Have a great weekend everybody!
Issue 1 and Issue 2 are now available in print from Indy Planet. Each issue is 22 black and white pages with bonus artwork. $ 2.99 each. You can get them by clicking on the images below. They are also available in the “store” link in the menu bar. Enjoy.
Howdy folks,
I went to the doctor today and my wrist did not look good. The doctor put me in a cast for two more weeks. So it looks like March 8 will be the earliest date when Endstone can resume.
I’m going to go through physical therapy once the cast is off. I don’t think my drawing will be affected that much; they even say an artist should really draw with the arm more than the wrist anyways. But I’m starting to worry that my Ultimate Frisbee days may be over. We’ll see.
To keep busy, I’ve managed to complete the dialogue, page design, and panel breakdowns for the rest of the current issue 3 and even all of issue 4. There’s some great twists and turns planned so I hope you will join me in March.
Hopefully I’ll see you all soon,
Tony
Howdy folks. Endstone is still on track to resume on February 23. While my arm is in a cast, I’ve decided to post some of the art work I’ve completed outside of Endstone as vote incentives for Topwebcomics. So if you get a moment, cast a vote and check out my stuff. Updates are daily, Monday through Friday.

Also, I’ve added a small store from cafepress in the menu bar. So far there’s just a small sample of T-shirts, but I plan to expand the store over the next few months.
Tony
I just wanted to report that I’ll be forced to take a hiatus until February 23 (hopefully). The reason is because a couple of weeks ago I broke my arm playing ultimate frisbee.
The last few posts were extra pages I had already completed before my accident. I get my cast off in three weeks and then I’ll have to draw up some stuff. So mark down February 22, or put Endstone into an RSS reader, or even shoot me an email I’ll let you know when I’m posting new pages again.
I have some interesting things in store for this website and the Endstone saga, so I hope you’ll come along for the ride after a short break— pun intended.

Keep on keepin’ on,
Tony
