Normally vampires don´t radiate blood through theyr eyes. Actually it is really difficult to display a vampire without showing teeth, blood or a really anachronistic fashion. As he is wearing a suitable outfit (for the time the story plays) he should be either a very modern vampire or he´s none. The only thing implicating your assumption is that there´s a kissing scene and the background is red ^_^ (Well and maybe that fluidlike behaviour of the rays) I disagree in your vampiremania.
